Franklin County Democratic Party

The Franklin County Democratic Party promotes the principles and candidates of the Ohio Democratic Party & Democratic Party of the United States. They endorse and are focused on electing local Democrats to office who promote our shared Democratic values in Franklin County.

NASW-Ohio PACE

The National Association of Social Workers, Ohio Chapter, Political Action for Candidate Election Committee is the political action arm of the NASW. PACE endorses and financially contributes to state and local candidates from any party who support NASW’s policy agenda. They believe that since elected officials create and pass policies that effect our clients and our profession, it is important for social workers to work to impact elections at every level of office.

The Matriots

The Matriots is a by-partisan political advocacy organizations that works to create a network of people to rally around and support women who are running for office and share their values. Candidates endorsed by the Matriots will work to promote economic equality for all women, ensure equal access to education, and end discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace; and will fight to ensure the health and safety of all women and protect their ability to live and rear children in a healthy, prosperous environment

Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund

The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund endorses candidates and ballot initiatives that represent the environmental values of Ohio communities. OEC endorsements have a record of taking action to ensure safe air, clean water, and protection of Ohio's great outdoors.

IAFF Local 67

The Columbus Fire Fighters Union - IAFF Local 67 is the largest IAFF affiliate in the State of Ohio and represents more than 1,550 uniformed men and women on the Columbus Division of Fire. They endorse candidates who are aligned on issues related to fire fighter safety & collective bargaining rights, and who will fight to improve the lives and livelihoods of professional fire fighters.

Franklin County Young Democrats

The Franklin County Young Democrats actively work to support young people seeking elected office who promote a progressive agenda in Franklin County. From advocacy to fundraising, socials and major conventions, the Franklin County Young Democrats work to be a driving force within the Democratic party at all levels of government.

CWA 4502

CWA 4502 Columbus is the local affiliate of the Communications Workers of America union and represents professional, supervisory and technical workers at the City of Columbus. They endorse candidates who are committed to strengthening bargaining rights and improving quality of life for all workers.

Columbus/Central Ohio Building Trades Council

The Columbus/Central Ohio Building Trades Council represents more than 18,000 workers in 21 affiliated Local Unions and district councils across Central Ohio. They endorse candidates who share their vision for protecting workers’ rights and who will fight to expand project labor agreements, prevailing wage protections, and support quality training opportunities for the trades.

Mom’s Demand Action

Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. “Moms Demand Action” in collaboration with the “Everytown for Gun Safety Fund” issues “Gun Sense Candidate Distinctions” to help voters recognize candidates who advocate for gun violence prevention and who will commit to governing with gun safety in mind.

Columbus Education Association & Teachers for Better Schools

Teachers for Better Schools is the political action committee of the CEA. TBS raises money for local and state pro-public education candidates who are deeply committed to the success of every child. TBS supports elected officials who put our students at the center of education reform.

Baptist Ministerial Alliance of Columbus

The Baptist Ministerial Alliance of Columbus & Vicinity is a prestigious body of ministers that has been revered in the African American community for over 80 years as a beacon of civic engagement and accountability. Their ‘Civic Betterment Committee’ endorsement candidates who support their vision and mission.

Central Ohio Labor Council - AFL-CIO

The Central Ohio Labor Council advocates for all working people, championing “working family-friendly” laws and policies through the legislative process. They endorse candidates who will support their mission to enrich the lives of Central Ohio citizens and support their core values of growth, diversity, & community spirit.

Central Ohio Young Black Democrats

The Central Ohio Young Black Democrats exists to mentor, recruit, & empower a new generation of Black leaders across central Ohio. Their purpose is to engage, education, enable, & inspire action & collaboration within the black community, and endorse candidates who share their values.

Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen

The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen is North America’s oldest rail labor union. They exist to promote and protect the rights, interests, and safety of its members through solidarity, aggressive representation, and education, and endorse candidates who are committed to these values.

Run for Something

Run for Something (RFS) works to build the progressive bench of strong, diverse progressives to run in down-ballot races. RFS endorsees are part of the next generation of leaders who will stand up against bad-faith policies, advocate for those who don’t have a seat at the table, and unflinchingly fight for democracy.

Lead Locally

Lead Locally is working to elect community leaders to positions in state and local office all across the United States who pledge to fight back against fossil fuel projects and who will work for a just, green economy. Lead Locally works to get out-the-vote for down ballot climate champions to ensure that we have leaders at every level who will work to achieve a just-transition off fossil fuels.
